COMPANY HISTORY 

Hunter Properties has been providing management services to property owners in North County since 1970 and is a current A+ member of the San Diego Better Business Bureau. Former owners of Hunter Properties have been Carl Calvert and Cheryl Phibbs, both long-time fixtures in North County Real Estate.

Kelly Douglass is the current President and Broker of Hunter Properties. She first came to Hunter Properties in 1990 and later purchased the company in 2000. Kelly first moved to North County in 1985 and has remained a local resident since.

Bruce Douglass joined Hunter Properties in 2004, making Hunter Properties a true family run business. Bruce is a graduate of UCSD and USD School of Law, and is a member of the California Bar. His background and experience has been an asset to our business. Bruce is in charge of the Maintenance and Remodeling division of Hunter Properties.

Kelly's assistant, Laura Davis, has been a part of the Hunter Properties team since 2002. She started off in the company as an administrative assistant and was promoted to Broker's Assistant. Having been raised in Encinitas, Laura is very familiar with our properties and the North County coastal area. Laura will be of assistance to you with any questions or matters you have regarding your tenants or our management.

Nicole Wood joined the Hunter Properties team in 2008. She was born and raised in Leucadia where she attended local schools. Nicole is a licensed Real Estate Agent. Since obtaining her Real Estate License, Nicole has attended Fair Housing courses, Real Estate courses, etc., and is very knowledgable about current laws and procedures in regards to Property Management. She will be happy to assist you with any questions you may have about our management services.

Our newest team member, Patricia Bell, has been a home Owner in Encinitas for over 30 years. She is currently the President of the Leucadia Town Council and is very active in local activities and has lots of local networking opportunities. Patricia is administering clerical work for Hunter Properties. She will be happy to answer any questions you may have about our current rentals.
