Hunter Properties is a full service residential property management company located in the North County of San Diego. We specialize in the management of properties in the coastal areas of Encinitas, Cardiff, Leucadia, Del Mar, Carlsbad, and Solana Beach.


Our property management firm has been providing services since 1970. The current president, Kelly Douglass has owned the company since 2000.  We have a portfolio of over 100 properties consisting of single-family homes, condominiums, duplexes and small apartment complexes totaling approximately 350 "doors".

President Kelly Douglass: Kelly is a licensed real estate broker who started at Hunter Properties in 1990. She understands the current real estate market in the region and accurately prices rental rates for property owners so they can obtain the best rental revenue for their investments with greater occupancy rates.


Broker’s Assistant Nicole Frazier: Nicole is a licensed real estate Broker and an Encinitas native who has been with Hunter Properties since 2008. Nicole is knowledgeable about current laws and procedures in regards to property management and fair housing. She works full time overseeing the advertising, leasing and accounting of our portfolio.  She would be happy to assist you with any questions or matters you would have regarding our management services.

Maintenance Manager Bruce Douglass ESQ:Bruce became a part of our team in 2004. His maintenance and remodeling work focuses on providing well maintained rental properties that increase in value. He handles all flood clean ups, mold repairs, roofing, major plumbing and remodeling.


Receptionist and Clerical Administrator Nancy Hoover: Nancy has worked part time at Hunter Properties since 2000 providing excellent clerical assistance and support to both owners and tenants.


Property Manager Assistant, Rosy Jurado; Rosy, a San Diego native, primarily assists the maintenance manager and agents by showing properties to prospective tenants. She is available to answer questions about any available properties or current tenant leases. Rosy has been part of our team since 2020.
